Imperial College Molecular Science Hub

Our finishes give facades character, able to convey the messaging or personality of an environment.

Our CAP 55 finish was selected for the SC perforated panels fabricated by PROTEUS FACADES early in the design process to contrast the concrete facade and glazed elements. Capisco supplied over 300m of patinated material for the project.

Designers AUKETT SWANKE felt the movement and texture of the patina reflects the molecular science that takes place within the building. The multi-toned panels appearance changes depending on the viewing angle and the position of the sun.

The result is a striking building that appears to move and glimmer across the visually flat surface beneath.
