Queen Victoria Street

Foggo Associates

We love a statement building, particularly one that makes fine use of one of our more vibrant patinas.

Queen Victoria st was completed by our team of patinators over twenty years ago in '98-99. This 15,350 sq.m, nine-storey office building occupies a prominent site in the heart of the City of London.

The main building facade features a unique patinated bronze cladding system which provides articulation and solar shading to the perimeter glazed office wall. The patina is a variation of our Standard VB5 patina specifically for the client. The unusual patinated brise soleil on the windows creates an atmospheric effect that gives the windows a filigree-esque element contrasting harmoniously with the dappled effect of the patina.

In our former works location on Southgate road Capisco patinated over 4000 pressed brass panels, 180 extrude brass columns, 180 transom LG4 cast bronze, 180 brass window grilles, 50 brie solei and 56 LG4 continuous cast bronze 4mtr columns. Plus various sundry items.

Perfect area to view several of our patination projects at once as it is adjacent to No1 Poultry Building completed in 1996 and Forgotten Streams by Cristina Iglesias which we restored in 2021.
