Hay Castle is one of the great medieval defence structures on the border of England and Wales still standing.
Capisco patinated a 3 flight steel-plate staircase to our Blackened Steel Finish, along with other steel elements.
Completed in-situ and entirely by hand, the staircase provides a contemporary element to the restoration, contrasting with its raw stonework setting.
Capisco also patinated an approx 3mx6m outdoor copper soffit to our Classic Cap 2 Patina. All works were completed onsite.
