Woolwich station's location has a rich military past and that is reflected in the overall design of the project. At platform level Capisco patinated over 25 large brass columns to a warm earthy finish. This Bespoke Patina provides a variegated tone between our Classic Cap 20 and Cap 2 range. 

Each column was patinated in four parts at our works in 2018 with restorative works completed onsite in 2021 due to installation damage .

The columns are a subtle nod to the site's former use as an armaments factory with a tile stripe of regimental colours (based on the colours adopted by the Royal Engineers and Royal Artillery regiments that were originally based on the site) create a modern sleek finish.
